Little Mover...and a Big Move

We've been up to a lot these past few weeks. We started off with our mini-move back to Davis. (We've been house sitting for some friends.) We didn't realize how much we missed Davis and it has been so wonderful to be back. There are parks everywhere for Owen to play and crawl around in the grass. He is fast so it's nice to be able to let him do his thing without worrying too much. Plus he's getting some walking practice in. While at the park we even found a little sign put up by some dear friends/our new next door neighbors!

I blurred out her phone number, somebody please return Ollie's bike!

Happy happy

There he goes!

Victory walk back

Of course these blossoms reminded me of Bambi (so much bigger in the movie)

This last Saturday we got to move into our new place! It was probably the smoothest move we've ever experienced. We've had a little practice since this was our 6th move as a married couple. We hope to be in this place for a long while. My dad and my friend Casey helped which was such a blessing since I'm almost 5 months pregnant and people seem to get really concerned if I lift a book. I'm only slightly joking.

I was really hoping for a cuter U-haul animal

Home sweet home!!!

There are so many things about this place that I'm excited about but I'll list two for now. Our house comes with two garden plots and my very first washer and dryer! No more laundry mats. I've used laundry mats for my entire life, even at my dad's so this is quite a dream for me. We will definitely miss living at Grandpa's but we are very excited about this new chapter in our lives.

More adventures to come soon!!!!

  1. Yay for the beginning of a wonderful new chapter!! We are so thankful that this one starts off with a return to Davis and a new Bjerke Baby :) Lots of cute pics...Owen is looking so much more like a little boy! West Manor is one of our favorite parks too. Thanks for the shout-out to Oliver and his bike...so sad, but so cute. We love you guys!!
